Blackjack

Blackjack is one of the world's most popular card games, where your goal is to build a hand worth as close to 21 as possible without going over. You'll compete against the dealer rather than other players, making strategic decisions after every card dealt.

Every round begins with two cards dealt to both you and the dealer. One of the dealer's cards remains hidden until all player actions have been completed, giving you the opportunity to improve your hand before the final result is determined.

How to Play

Number cards are worth their face value, face cards count as 10, and Aces can be worth either 1 or 11 depending on which value benefits your hand the most.

During your turn, you can choose from several actions depending on your cards:

  • Hit — Draw another card to increase your hand value.
  • Stand — Keep your current hand and end your turn.
  • Double — Double your wager, receive one final card, and automatically stand.
  • Split — If your first two cards are a pair, divide them into two separate hands and play each independently.

After all player actions are complete, the dealer reveals their hidden card and draws according to the game's rules. If your final hand is closer to 21 than the dealer's without exceeding it, you win.

Winning the Game

A hand that exceeds 21 immediately busts and loses the round. If the dealer busts, every remaining player hand wins automatically. If both you and the dealer finish with the same total, the round ends in a push and your original wager is returned.

A natural Blackjack, consisting of an Ace and a 10-value card as your first two cards, is the strongest possible opening hand and is paid according to the game's payout rules.

Provably Fair

Every card dealt in FortBux Blackjack is generated using our provably fair system. Each draw is produced from a deterministic combination of the revealed server seed, your client seed, the current hand nonce, and the card's draw position.

Rather than dealing from a pre-shuffled deck, every card is generated independently using the same algorithm as our backend servers. Once the server seed has been revealed, you can replay the entire round and verify every card dealt, including actions such as Hit, Stand, Double, and Split.
