Case Battles

Case Battles on FortBux bring a competitive twist to case opening by allowing multiple players to open the exact same cases at the same time. Instead of opening cases alone, you'll compete head-to-head to see who comes out on top.

Each battle displays key details, including the player count, selected cases, battle mode, and entry cost. You can create your own battle or join one that's already waiting in the lobby.

How Case Battles Work

A battle begins automatically once every player slot has been filled. During each round, all participants open the same case simultaneously, with results revealed live for everyone.

The winner is determined by the battle mode selected when the match was created. FortBux offers a variety of modes, including highest-value wins, lowest-value wins, winner-takes-all, shared prize pools, and final-round deciding formats. Combined with different case selections and player counts, every battle can offer a unique experience.

Battles can range from a single case to multiple rounds featuring a custom sequence of cases.

Creating or Joining a Battle

Starting a battle only takes a few steps. Select the cases you want to include, choose the number of players, and pick your preferred battle mode.

Battles can be made:

  • Public — Visible in the battle lobby for anyone to join.
  • Private — Accessible only through a shareable invite link.

Once all available slots are occupied, the battle launches automatically.

Provably Fair

Every Case Battle on FortBux is protected by our provably fair system. Before the battle starts, a verification hash is generated to guarantee that every outcome has already been committed and cannot be changed.

When the battle is over, you can review the Fairness page to verify each roll yourself and confirm that every result was generated transparently and fairly.
